Jessica is a Masorti rabbinical student currently studying at Hebrew College, as well as at the Pardes Kollel and the Yashrut Institute. She grew up in Edinburgh and read mathematics at the University of Oxford. After university Jessica worked as a software engineer before moving to an interfaith charity, where she ran Jewish education and social action programmes. Jessica is a co-founder of Azara, a new cross-communal yeshiva opening Torah learning to people of all backgrounds. She has completed a chaplaincy placement at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, worked as rabbinic intern in the adult learning department of Hebrew College, and is currently a teaching assistant and fellow at Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies.
